I prefer Deerfield's and Lovin' Oven to Oak Mill. I went here this afternoon for the first time. Walking in, it smelled like old lady... no, seriously, smelled like my grandmother's house used to smell. I should have turned and walked out, but I was with a friend who claimed it was good...plus a bunch of space in their display case was missing... ok, fine. It's a Sunday... nearly everything had fruit of some kind in it... or whipped cream. I'm sorry, but when I'm going to a bakery, I'm not going to eat healthy. I want real cream and I want chocolate without freakin' fruit. I was set to order a cupcake and then saw it was whipped cream frosting--eew! I ordered what looked to be a cheese chocolate chip danish. Got home only to find out that it had been stacked underneath the cherry one---and mine was half cheese chocolate chip, half blackberry...and stale! I also got a couple of stale macaroons. I can hardly wait to try the apple pie in my fridge...which is probably stale, too. Proof that too many locations can be a problem if it's not closely monitored... and I've never seen a credit card machine working so slowly in all my life! Skip it and drive to a good bakery... or even Walmart or Target would be better.

I had a wonderful pear cake from this place. They can make the 'healthier' deserts very well. It sounds like they are always busy so this is not your get-a-cake-at-the-last-minute store.

It used be the only place selling great pasteries. Not anymore. Old cakes, plastic tasting and overpriced. I will never go back there.
